Welcome back to another edition of the Champlain Valley Tent Rentals’ blog! Hopefully you all have gotten through your respective weeks with little to no aggravation. Even if you had a week from the pits of Dante’s Inferno, at least that smell in the air is a pick-me-up. And do you know what that smell is? That’s spring!

Okay, okay, okay… so it’s probably not coming quite yet. But what a nice respite from the chill, right? And for us it means one more thing: soon we’ll be back to work! What Did the Groundhog REALLY See?

Welcome back everybody! We at Champlain Valley Tent Rentals hope you all have had a fantastic week.

In our last blog we had mentioned that spring was right around the corner; did you realize Groundhog’s Day has already past?!  I’ve heard a few people mention that the groundhog, Punksatawny Phil, didn’t see his shadow, so that means we unfortunately have a six weeks of winter left as opposed to only a month and a half until spring.  Now those of you who may have actually seen or heard about Punksatawny Phil and his yearly exit of his home-hole, you may realize that I got that 100% backwards–which I very well could have.

This brings me to my point, however:  whether or not the groundhog sees his shadow it is the same time that the superstition refers to.   Whether it’s six weeks (four weeks in a month, plus two weeks is another half a month) more of winter or a month and a half (four weeks, plus two weeks for the half month) until spring, it matters not.  What’s our point, you ask?  Well as we said in our last blog, spring is right around the corner!  So however Mr. Phil saw that scary shadow of his, time is running short to cement your date, whatever the event may be.  Weddings large and small, backyard barbecues, and everything in between is something Champlain Valley Tent Rentals will make a reality.  Again, all you need to do is pick out your tent rental and the corresponding gear from tables, chairs, lights, and even dishware, flatware, fine china, and cutlery.

Champlain Valley Tent Rentals is Now Easier to Find!

One thing we’ve been asked time and time again in this business is something like the following:

How come we can’t find you online?  We search for tents, tent rental, tent renting companies vt, and so forth… but we can’t find you?  What gives CV Tents?!

Most often, people throw stuff at us, try to beat us up, and claim that we ruined their day because they couldn’t find us online and had to use an inferior company; when that happened, nothing was done to their specifications, the tent didn’t look right, the banquet tables weren’t set up in the right area as they were sloppily tossed next to the band’s stage, and they cry, and cry, and cry:  “Why Champlain Valley Tent Rentals, why!?”

Okay, we’re using what I think is called a bit of “poetic license,” because no, people don’t attack us.  However I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to find out that the other parts, the folks saddened by their tent rental company’s lack of prowess and/or their lack of finding us, was in fact the case.

So we’ve fixed the issue!  Now when you go onto Google and search for many terms that are relevant to our business, you’ll be more likely to find us.  We’re putting our website back together to give you a better viewpoint of that which you’re ordering, and as soon as the summer hits we’ll have pictures and possibly video (if time permits–remember, we have tents to raise and special days to make happen!) showing all of our talents and what we can do for you.  Well, not all of our talents, because that would take way too much effort.  Okay, we’re being a bit factitious once more…
